# WebFax

> Create a secure, branded fax page your contacts can use anytime—no account required.

WebFax lets you generate a shareable URL where customers, partners, or patients can send you faxes directly. You control the branding, delivery settings, and billing behavior, while Amplify handles security and reliability in the background.

## What Is WebFax?

WebFax is a public-facing fax page connected to your Amplify workspace.\
Instead of asking someone to install software or create an account, you simply share a link. They upload their document, click **Send**, and the fax is delivered securely to your team.

It’s ideal for:

* Receiving faxes from external users
* Replacing physical fax machines
* Collecting documents from customers or patients
* Offering a modern fax experience under your brand

## Create Your WebFax Page

Setting up a WebFax page takes just a few minutes.

### Step 1: Name Your Page

Give your WebFax page a clear title.\
This name appears on the public page and helps recipients know they’re in the right place.

### Step 2: Choose a Fax Default

Select which fax configuration the page should use.\
You can manage or change this later if your workflow evolves.

### Step 3: Configure Organization & Billing

Choose how incoming faxes are handled:

* **Receive by email** – Automatically forward faxes to your inbox (Fax to Email)
* **Billing options** – Decide whether faxing is free for visitors or paid by them

<Tip>
  This flexibility lets you adapt WebFax for internal use, customer intake, or monetized services.

## Share Your WebFax URL

Once created, your WebFax page gets a unique URL.

You can:

* Copy and share the link directly
* Customize the URL for a cleaner, branded look
* Embed the WebFax form into your website using the provided embed code

This makes it easy to place fax intake exactly where users expect it—on your site, portal, or app.

***

## Customize Branding

WebFax supports light branding so your page feels like an extension of your business.

You can customize:

* Page title and identity
* Logo and visual style (where enabled)
* Domain or URL structure

<Note>
  Your recipients see **your brand**, not a generic fax tool.
</Note>

## How WebFax Fits Into Amplify

WebFax works seamlessly with the rest of Amplify:

* Incoming faxes appear in shared inboxes
* Team members can view, forward, or respond based on permissions
* Activity is logged for visibility and compliance
* Documents can flow into eSign, Connect, or cloud storage workflows

Everything stays centralized—no manual handoffs required.
