# Schedule a fax

> Schedule a fax to be sent automatically at a specific date and time.

Scheduling a fax allows you to prepare your fax in advance and have it sent later without manual intervention. This is useful for time-sensitive documents, after-hours delivery, or coordinating across time zones.

## Overview

When composing a fax in Amplify, you can choose to send it immediately or schedule it for a future date and time. Once scheduled, the fax is queued and sent automatically at the selected time.

Scheduled faxes remain editable until they are sent.

## How to schedule a fax

Follow these steps to schedule a fax from the web app:

1. Start composing a new fax and add the recipient, documents, and cover page as needed.
2. Instead of sending immediately, select the **Schedule** option.
3. Choose the **date** and **time** using the calendar and time picker.
4. Confirm your selection and click **Save**.

The fax will now be scheduled for delivery at the specified time.

## Viewing scheduled faxes

All scheduled faxes are available in the **Scheduled** view.

From here, you can:

* See upcoming scheduled faxes
* Review scheduled send times
* Edit or cancel a fax before it is sent

## Editing or canceling a scheduled fax

Before the scheduled send time, you can:

* Update the send date or time
* Modify recipients or documents
* Cancel the fax entirely

Once the fax has been sent, it will move out of the Scheduled view.

  After a fax begins sending, it can no longer be edited or canceled.

## Broadcasting and recurring schedules

**Recurring scheduling is available for fax broadcasting only.**

When sending broadcast faxes, you can schedule recurring deliveries (for example, daily or weekly sends). Single-recipient faxes support one-time scheduling only.
