Overview

Notifications keep you informed about activity across your account — faxes, eSign documents, form submissions, billing events, and more. You can receive alerts via Email or Push notification, and configure each type independently. To access your notification settings, go to Settings → Notifications.

Notification Categories

Fax

Manage alerts for all fax activity, split into outbound and inbound events. Outbound Faxes Inbound Faxes Document Processing These fire when transmission or processing begins on a fax document.
  • Transmission started (assigned) — triggers for faxes specifically assigned to your account
  • Transmission started (accessible) — triggers for numbers you have access to but don’t own directly
  • OCR processing — Optical Character Recognition converts faxed documents into searchable text
  • AI data extraction — Automated extraction of key info like patient data, dates, and medical codes

eSign

Get notified when recipients interact with documents you’ve sent for signature.
Enable Audit Trail attachments on completion events to keep a tamper-evident record for compliance purposes.

Forms

Receive alerts when recipients submit or view your online forms.

FAQ

Yes. Each notification row has independent Email and Push toggles. Simply disable the Email toggle for any or all rows while leaving Push enabled.
Assigned fires for fax numbers that are directly tied to your account. Accessible fires for numbers you can view and use (e.g., shared team numbers) but don’t own outright.
When enabled, the actual fax document is included as an attachment in your email notification, so you can view the content without logging into the app.
Yes. In the eSign section, check the Audit Trail checkbox next to the relevant event (e.g., “Document completed by all parties”) to receive it as an attachment.
Certain billing and account events (like low credit alerts and payment reminders) are configured as Push-only by default. If you need email for these, contact support to check if your plan supports custom billing alert preferences.
No. Notification preferences are per-user. Each team member can configure their own settings under Settings → Notifications.
