The Meetings module in Amplify lets you host and join real-time meetings without leaving the app. Each meeting generates a unique link you can instantly share with participants, making collaboration fast and seamless.

Starting a meeting

You can start a meeting anytime from Amplify:
  1. Click Start Now from the left sidebar.
  2. Select Meeting.
  3. Your meeting room opens immediately.
Once the meeting is ready, you’ll see a confirmation panel with a join link you can copy and share with others.

Inviting participants

After your meeting starts, you can invite others by:
  • Clicking Add others
  • Copying the meeting link and sharing it via message, email, or chat
Participants can join using the shared link—no additional setup required.

In-meeting controls

During a meeting, you have access to essential controls, including:
  • Mute or unmute your microphone
  • Turn your camera on or off
  • Share your screen
  • Raise your hand
  • End the meeting at any time
These controls help keep meetings organized and productive.

Secure by default

Each meeting is created with a unique link to ensure privacy. Only users with the link can join, helping keep conversations secure.

Meetings and conversations

Meetings work seamlessly alongside other Amplify modules. You can:
  • Share meeting links in messages
  • Follow up after meetings using calls or messages
  • Keep collaboration centralized in one workspace

No. Meetings in Amplify can be started instantly without scheduling. We are working on expanding our existing capabilities and soon you will be able to schedule meetings too!
Yes. Anyone with the meeting link can join, even if they’re not an Amplify user.
No. Meetings are not recorded by default.
