Once connected, you can send faxes without leaving HubSpot and view fax activity from the associated contact record.
Before you startYou need an active Amplify account and a HubSpot account with permission to install and configure apps.

1. Install the Amplify integration from HubSpot

Start by installing the Amplify integration from the HubSpot App Marketplace.

Open the HubSpot App Marketplace

Sign in to HubSpot and open the App Marketplace.

Search for Amplify

Search for Amplify and open the Amplify integration.

Install the app

Click Install app.

Select your HubSpot account

Select the HubSpot account you want to connect.

Review permissions

Review the permissions requested by the integration and click Connect app to complete the installation.
The permissions shown by HubSpot may vary depending on your HubSpot account configuration and the features enabled for your Amplify integration.

2. Connect HubSpot from Amplify

You can also start the connection from your Amplify account.

Open Plugins

Sign in to Amplify and navigate to Plugins.

Open CRM integrations

Select CRM and find HubSpot.

Connect HubSpot

Open the HubSpot integration and click Connect App.
You must have the required permissions in both Amplify and HubSpot to complete the connection.

3. Authorize your Amplify account

After starting the connection, you’ll be redirected to Amplify to authorize your account.

Sign in to Amplify

Sign in using your Amplify credentials.If you don’t have an Amplify account yet, follow the account creation flow to set one up.

Authorize the connection

Review the connection details and authorize the connection between Amplify and HubSpot.

Complete the setup

Once authorization is complete, you’ll be returned to the integration flow.
What happens after authorization?The connection allows Amplify to work with HubSpot records so you can send faxes from supported HubSpot records and log fax activity in HubSpot.

4. Configure the Amplify card in HubSpot

After connecting your accounts, you may need to add the Amplify card to your HubSpot record view.

Open HubSpot settings

In HubSpot, click the Settings icon in the main navigation.

Open Contact settings

In the left sidebar, navigate to Objects → Contacts.

Open record customization

Select the Record customization tab.

Select the record view

Select the Default view or the specific team view where you want the Amplify card to appear.

Add the Amplify card

Click Add cards and select Amplify – Send Fax.

Save your changes

Position the card where you want it to appear and save your changes.
The exact location of the card may vary depending on your HubSpot record layout and account configuration.

5. Send a fax from HubSpot

Once the integration is configured, you can send a fax directly from a supported HubSpot record.

Open a contact record

In HubSpot, navigate to the contact you want to fax.

Find the Amplify card

Locate the Amplify card in the record sidebar or center tab, depending on your HubSpot layout.

Compose the fax

Click Compose Fax.

Add your document

Attach the document you want to send and enter or confirm the recipient’s fax details.

Send the fax

Review the fax details and send the fax securely through Amplify.
Before sending, verify the recipient’s fax number and attached documents. Fax transmissions may contain sensitive information and should be sent only to the intended recipient.

6. View fax activity in HubSpot

After a fax is successfully sent, you can view the fax activity from the associated HubSpot contact record.

Open the contact record

Navigate to the HubSpot contact associated with the fax.

Open the Activity timeline

Go to the Activity tab on the contact record.

Find the fax activity

Locate the fax activity to review the recorded fax information and status.

Troubleshooting

Make sure the Amplify integration is connected and that the Amplify – Send Fax card has been added to the appropriate HubSpot record view.If the card still doesn’t appear, verify that you are viewing the correct team or default record layout.
Verify that you have the required permissions to install and authorize apps in HubSpot and that you are signed in to the correct Amplify account.If your organization manages HubSpot app permissions centrally, contact your HubSpot administrator.
Confirm that the fax was successfully submitted from Amplify and that you’re viewing the correct HubSpot contact record.If the activity is still missing, verify that the integration is connected and configured correctly.
Yes. Once the Amplify integration is connected and the Amplify card is added to your HubSpot record view, you can compose and send a fax directly from a supported HubSpot record.
Yes. You can manage your connected integrations from the Plugins section of Amplify. Disconnecting the integration prevents Amplify from continuing to use the HubSpot connection.
